The man known as ‘Little Richard’ and beloved by millions, died Saturday, May 9th at the age of 87. Born Richard Penniman, December 5, 1932 in Macon, Georgia, the man whose music and on-stage performances thrilled audiences and redefined showmanship, was considered by many as the man who invented Rock and Roll.
